Tipton Latham Bank Partners with DCI for a More Efficient Core
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HUTCHINSON, KAN., Oct. 12, 2022 — Data Center Inc. (DCI), the privately-owned developer of core processing, digital banking, and fintech processing solutions, announced that Tipton Latham Bank, N.A., Tipton, Mo., has contracted with DCI to implement its iCore360® bank management and processing system, along with its iCoreGO® digital suite. |
The decision to switch core processors came after the bank was informed that their current core system would be sunset in the near future. They began a core vendor search earlier this year.
“We had been on our existing core for over 20 years,” said Lori Bestgen, Tipton Latham’s Chief Financial Officer. “By moving to DCI, we’ll gain efficiencies that will allow our employees to focus more on helping our customers,” she added.
The DCI iCore360® cloud-based core gives the bank a single, secure source of business intelligence and workflow automation that will simplify operations. While the iCoreGO® digital suite will give Tipton Latham’s customers direct access to bill pay, eStatements, mobile/merchant capture, card alerts/blocking, P2P payments, transfers, ACH, cash management, positive pay, and more.
“We felt DCI provided us with the best value for our investment in a core provider,” said Tipton Latham Bank President and CEO John Allee. “We also felt their products would best serve our customers’ needs, now and in the future.”
When asked what the determining factor was in choosing DCI, Bestgen added, “We were drawn to DCI because of their reputation for excellent customer service. In speaking with references and listening to the DCI demos, it was clear that DCI’s relationship with their banks is more reflective of a partnership than just a business/customer transaction. They want each bank to have the tools to succeed, not just a product out of a box. And they are open to suggestions from each bank they work with.”
Sarah Fankhauser, President and CEO of DCI added, “We’re always glad when a new customer chooses DCI because of our solid core processing solution. But it’s so gratifying to know, that time and time again, it’s the personal relationships we’ve built with our current customers that help us gain our new clients.”
